Vera Troitskaya graduated from the Moscow Medical Stomatological Institute named after N. A. Semashko in 1998. In 2000, she completed her full-time clinical residency at the NMRC for Hematology in the specialty “Hematology and Blood Transfusion,” continuing on to complete her full-time postgraduate studies in the same specialty at NMRC for Hematology in 2003. In 2004 she defended her thesis for the degree of Candidate of Medical Sciences, “Diagnosis and Treatment of Cytomegalovirus Infection in Patients with Hemoblastosis” under the supervision of Academician V. G. Savchenko. From 2003 until 2010, she worked as a hematologist in the Department of Hemoblastosis Chemotherapy and Bone Marrow Transplantation of NMRC for Hematology. From 2010 to 2012, she was a senior researcher in the Department of High-dose Chemotherapy and Bone Marrow Transplantation at the NMRC for Hematology. From 2013 until 2022 she worked as the head of the Intensive High-Dose Chemotherapy Department for patients with Hematological Malignancies and Hematopoietic Depressions with Round the Clock Hospital. She has acted as the Deputy General Director for Medical Work since 2000 and became the First Deputy General Director of the NMRC for Hematology in 2021. Since 2006 she has served as the Executive Secretary of the Editorial Board of the Journal "Hematology and Transfusiology.”
