The National Medical Research Center for Hematology of Russia is the largest hematology clinic in the country. Every year the NMRC for Hematology treats about 5,000 patients with hemoblastosis and other diseases of the blood system and performs more than 1,500 surgical interventions, of which more than 230 are bone marrow transplants.
The Federal State Budgetary Institution "NMRC for Hematology" of the Ministry of Health of Russia is the largest expert scientific organization in Russia. It is the leading scientific center in its field and is among the ten key scientific organizations of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation in terms of basic scientometric indicators.

The NMRC for Hematology is the organizer and curator of multicenter international medical research, in particular:
- Multicenter study on the treatment of acute myeloid and lymphoblastic leukemias, Hodgkin's disease, diffuse large B cell lymphoma, follicular lymphoma
- Pan-European population study of сhronic myeloid leukemia EUTOS
- Multicenter study of infectious blood complications (jointly with the National Hematology Society)
- Multi-nosological Register of diseases of the blood system (jointly with the National Hematology Society)
- Interregional Transplant Registry
The NMRC for Hematology employs over 1400 employees, including:
