The experience accumulated by the department in managing patients helps to coherently monitor, carry out diagnostic and preventive procedures for patients after BMT, and prevent serious complications at early stages. Patients are monitored throughout their entire subsequent life after allo-HSCT, more thoroughly during the first year after allogeneic BMT, since all significant events occur at this time. Particular attention is paid to patients with chronic GVHD, prevention of relapses and the presence of other complications after allo-HSCT.

In order to improve the quality of medical care, the doctors of the department created the "Patient Schools" project, which highlights potential problems and all topical issues related to allo- HSCT. All school lessons are recorded as video recommendations and posted on the website for transplant patients ( tkm.blood.ru ).

Gratitude to the registration specialist
In February 2024, we turned to the NMRC for Hematology for the first time. When we entered the Center, we went straight to registration. There was a huge queue. We noticed that despite the huge queue, the patients at the 6th window did not stay long, and we decided to go through registration there. This charming woman’s name is Kristina. We were amazed by her work with patients, and especially by the speed of her work. If you want to get registered quickly, then go only to her. There are a lot of people, but she still somehow manages to take in 2 windows. She explained everything and worked very quickly. It is clear that she knows her job. She is a polite and pleasant woman. After all, coming to any institution, it is very important how you are greeted. And again, we visited the Center with repeated admission and were satisfied. Thank you, Kristina, for your work!

Sincerely, Elnur Guseinov
