The office is part of the Department of Endoscopy & Office of Ultrasound and Functional Diagnostics.
The office was restructured from the Department of Magnetic Resonance Imaging and Ultrasound Diagnostics, established in 2013. Since 2022, the office has been included in the Department of Endoscopy.
The office is equipped with functional diagnostic equipment and ultrasound devices of the latest generation, which make it possible to conduct research using a wide range of modern diagnostic techniques.
Ultrasound is a non-invasive method of diagnosing diseases of various organs and body systems. Due to its accessibility, high information content and the absence of radiation exposure, ultrasound occupies one of the leading places among radiation diagnostic methods. The priority of our department is to conduct a wide range of high-quality ultrasound examinations of various organs and systems, which are provided by a combination of modern diagnostic equipment and highly qualified personnel.
Functional diagnostics is a branch of medicine that deals with the diagnosis of diseases of organs and body systems and the assessment of their functional capabilities using instrumental research methods. Functional diagnostic methods are safe and highly informative. They can be repeatedly used for healthy people, all categories of patients, children, and pregnant women and make it possible to understand the state of important body systems, determine the tactics of treating the underlying disease, make adjustments to the therapy of concomitant pathology, and make forecasts about risks and prospects of recovery.
Annually, the department conducts more than 15,000 thousand ultrasound and 12,000 functional examinations.
