Tatiana Gaponova graduated from First Moscow State Medical University named after I. M. Sechenov with a degree in general medicine in 2004 and completed her residency at the NMRC for Hematology with a specialty in hematology in 2006. Since 2005, she has participated in the work of the bone marrow cryopreservation group. She has worked as the head of the laboratory of the Department of Cryopreservation and Stem Cell Biology. In 2010, she completed primary retraining in the specialty "Transfusiology.” In 2011, Gaponova defended her dissertation for the degree of Candidate of Medical Sciences on the topic, "Expression of Tumor-associated genes PRAME, WT1 and XIAP in Patients with Multiple Myeloma During Intensive Chemotherapy and Autotransplantation.”
