In 2017, Vitaly Latyshev graduated with honors from the I.M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University with a degree in general medicine. After graduation he completed his residency in hematology at the NMRC for Hematology from 2017-2019. After residency, he worked as a hematologist in the Department of Orphan Diseases of the NMRC for Hematology under the guidance of Prof. Elena A. Lukina. Since 2022 — Head of the Hematology Day Hospital for Patients with Hereditary Metabolic Diseases.
Research interests — non-tumor diseases of the blood system (including paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria and other congenital and acquired hemolytic anemia, immune thrombocytopenia, cytopenic syndromes, histiocytosis).
Latyshev is a co-researcher in many clinical trials of new drugs, both domestic and international. He participates in the development of current clinical recommendations for non-tumor diseases of the blood system and is an active participant and speaker at the scientific and practical conferences "Histiocyte society annual meeting," "Congress of Hematologists of Russia," "Polysystem orphan diseases as an interdisciplinary problem," "Modern Hematology. Problems and Solutions", etc.
