Vladimir Y. Zorenko graduated from the First Moscow State Medical University named after I. M. Sechenov with a degree in general medicine in 1985. Upon graduation, he was accepted as an intern-researcher at the Central Research Institute of Hematology (now named NMRC for Hematology), where he completed his postgraduate studies. From 26.1.1988 to 01.01.2001 he was a surgeon in the Department of Reconstructive and Restorative Orthopedics for Patients with Hemophilia of the Hematological Scientific Center (now named NMRC for Hematology). He became a researcher in the Department of Reconstructive Orthopedics for Patients with Hemophilia of the Hematological Scientific Center in January of 2001, becoming a senior researcher of the same department in June 2003, and a leading researcher of the department on 1.10.2007. From 01.07.2009 to the present, he has been the head of the Department of Hemophilia and Other Coagulopathies at the NMRC for Hematology.
Work experience at the National Medical Research Center for Hematology - 31 years. Vladimir Y. Zorenko is a qualified specialist in the treatment of patients with hemophilia and other coagulopathies. He has been an orthopedic surgeon of the highest category since 1995. He treats his duties with the utmost responsibility, demanding of himself and his subordinates. During his work in the department, he has mastered the methods of transfusion-infusion therapy, modern methods of regulating hemostasis, and techniques for a wide range of traumatological and orthopedic operations. Vladimir Zorenko operates independently and trains residents, graduate students and fellow doctors. In his practice, he applies knowledge of the peculiarities of treatment of patients with various disorders of the hemostasis system. He enjoys authority among colleagues and patients. Vladimir Zorenko actively participates in the scientific life of the NMRC for Hematology, in Russian and international conferences and congresses. He is continuously improving on his professionalism and speaks English. He conducts medical and consulting work for all patients with hemophilia in Russia and the CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States). He participates in scientific research. Since 2009, he has been managing an international training center for the training of specialists in hemophilia.
Since 2011, he has been an expert on hemophilia at the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation.
Honorary titles and awards: The Prize of the Government of the Russian Federation 2018 in the field of science and technology and the honorary title of the laureate of the Government of the Russian Federation in the field of science and technology (2018), Certificates of Honor of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation (2013 and 2016), honorary donor of Russia, Honored Doctor of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
