The Conference “Leukemia and Lymphomas. Therapy and Basic Research,” held twice a year, is a platform for sharing experiences, broadcasting new ideas and networking in the field of hematology.

On 26 April 1986, the largest accident at a nuclear facility in history occurred at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant. The accident became a challenge for everyone – the leadership of the USSR, rescuers, the military and, of course, for doctors. A group of scientists and doctors led by A.I. Vorobyov found a way to determine the radiation dose without using dosimeters.
From 11-13 April 2024, the event was attended by more than four thousand specialists, two thousand of whom joined online.
Alexey has donated blood more than 150 times. He decided to become a donor in 2010 after the explosions in the metro at the Lubyanka and Park Kultury stations. On 22 March, Alexey attended a concert at Crocus City Hall, and on the 23rd he came to a donate at the NMRC for Hematology.

The Clinical and Diagnostic Department of Hematology and Hemostasis Disorders of the NMRC for Hematology of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation is conducting a clinical trial of the ANB-002-1/ SAFRAN gene therapy drug in patients with severe hemophilia B. The drug was developed by the Russian biotechnology company BIOCAD.
