Head of the center- Olga K. Levchenko, Candidate of Medical Sciences
The center functions as part of the Center for Innovative Medical Education.
In accordance with Federal Law No. 323-ФЗ “On the Fundamentals of Public Health Protection in the Russian Federation”, persons who have received medical or other education in Russian educational organizations and have passed specialist accreditation have the right to carry out medical activities in the Russian Federation. In order to carry out the procedure of primary specialized accreditation of healthcare professionals, as well as for training practical skills in simulated conditions for residents, doctors and nursing staff, a Methodological Accreditation and Simulation Center (MASC) was established at the NMRC for Hematology in 2019. The MASC conducts primary specialized accreditation on a monthly basis.
The MASC is equipped with the following modern equipment: patient robots for practicing emergency medical care and cardiopulmonary resuscitation; simulators for performing lumbar puncture and trepanobiopsy; simulators for practicing intravenous injection; and the necessary equipment needed for practicing skills in determining blood type and conducting tests for individual compatibility of donor and recipient blood.
Together with the Methodological Accreditation Center of Sechenov University and leading experts in the field of hematology and transfusiology, the MASC conducts methodological work on the formation and updating of assessment tools (tests, tasks, station passports), taking into account current legislation and trends.
