The Division of Internal Quality Control of Medical Care was established in October 2020 The purpose of the division is the creation of a system of internal quality control and safety of medical care in the NMRC for Hematology that complies with mandatory requirements for ensuring the quality and safety of medical activities established by the legislation of the Russian Federation.
MAIN ACTIVITIES OF THE DIVISION:
- developing and updating local regulations on the system of internal quality control and safety of medical activities
- assessing the quality and safety of medical care at the NMRC for Hematology and its structural units by conducting planned and unplanned inspections
- record keeping of undesired events in the implementation of medical care
- collecting statistical data characterizing the quality and safety of medical care at the NMRC for Hematology and the analysis of this data
- analyzing information about the side effects, adverse reactions to medications, individual intolerance, lack of efficacy of medications, as well as other facts and circumstances that pose a threat to human life or health when using medications
- analyzing information on all cases where side effects are detected not specified in the instructions for use or in the operating manual of the medical device
- monitoring the existence of educational documents and specialist/accreditation certificates for medical workers
