Dmitry E. Vybornykh has been a member of the International Psycho-Oncological Society (IPOS) since 2004 He is a member of the editorial board of the International Journal of Hematology Research.
Dimitry Vybornykh graduated from the Moscow Medical Academy named after I.M. Sechenov in 1994 From 1994-1996 he completed a clinical academic residency in the specialty "psychiatry" in the Department for the Study of Borderline Mental Pathology and Psychosomatic Disorders (headed by Academician A. B. Smulevich) of the Scientific Center for Mental Health of the Russian Academy of Sciences. In 2002 he underwent professional retraining in the specialty "sexology" (Moscow Research Institute of Psychiatry). From 2013 to 2014, he completed professional retraining in the specialty "psychotherapy" (Moscow Research Institute of Psychiatry). In 2014 he completed professional retraining in the specialty "health organization and public health" at the Russian National Research Medical University named after N.I. Pirogov.
From 1995 to 2016, Vybornykh worked as a psychiatrist at the Somato- Psychiatric Department of the Vorokhobov State Clinical Hospital No. 67 of the Moscow Department of Health. From 1996 to 2000 he was a junior researcher of the Department for the Study of Borderline Mental Pathology and Psychosomatic Disorders of the Scientific Center for Mental Health of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences. From 2000 to the present he has been a psychiatrist at the National Medical Research Center for Hematology of the Ministry of Health of Russia. From 2012 to 2016, Dimitry Vybornykh acted as the head of the Group for the Study of Mental and Neurological Disorders in Diseases of the Blood System. From 2016 to the present, he is the head of the Laboratory for the Study of Mental and Neurological Disorders in Diseases of the Blood System.
In 2000 he defended his thesis for the degree Candidate of Medical Sciences on the topic, "Nosogenic Paranoid Reactions (clinic, epidemiology, therapy).” In 2012 he defended his doctoral dissertation "Mental Disorders in Patients with Diseases of the Blood System (typology, epidemiology, therapy)".
Areas of scientific interests:
- the conjugacy of mental and hematological pathology, at the clinical, psychological and biological levels
- study of the immunological aspects of schizophrenia
- study of the patterns, features of the manifestation, and course of mental pathology and personality disorders in certain forms of diseases of the blood system
- study of the peculiarities of the course of mental pathology during bone marrow transplantation and personality changes occurring at the early and separated post-transplant stages
- study of psychopathological and psychological mechanisms of symptom formation of dissociative disorders in patients with diseases of the blood system
- development of psychopharmacological and psychotherapeutic techniques in the treatment of mental and personal pathology in patients with diseases of the blood system
- study of neurocognitive functioning in patients with diseases of the blood system
Scientific, medical and organizational activities:
- developed typology, epidemiology, and therapy of mental disorders in patients with diseases of the blood system
