Nadezhda I. Zozulya — Head of the Clinical and Diagnostic Department of Hematology and Hemostasis Disorders, hematologist, leading researcher, Doctor of Medical Sciences

Nadezhda I. Zozulya graduated with honors from the Perm State Medical Academy with a degree in general medicine in 1996 She completed her internship and clinical residency in the specialty “internal diseases.” From 1997 to 2004, she worked as a hematologist at the Perm Regional Clinical Hospital. In 2002, she defended her thesis for the degree of Candidate of Medical Sciences on the topic, "Clinical and Hemostasiological Aspects of Atherogenesis in Patients with Chronic Hemoblastosis." She has been working at the National Medical Research Center for Hematology since 2004

In 2011 Nadezhda Zozulya defended her dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Medical Sciences on the topic, "Diagnosis and Treatment of an Inhibitory form of Hemophilia."

She has been Head of the Department of Blood Coagulation Disorders of the NMRC for Hematology of the Ministry of Health of Russia since 2013

Research interests: hemostasis disorders, thrombophilia, thrombosis

Zozulya is a recognized scientist in the world community, as well as a domestic leader in the field of coagulopathies.

She is a regular participant and moderator of international and Russian conferences devoted to the problems of blood clotting disorders, a coordinator of multicenter studies both domestic and foreign in the field of hemostasis disorders and a participant of international educational twinning programs under the auspices of the WFH.

Zozulya is an expert of the Russian Academy of Sciences on blood clotting disorders, a reviewer of international publications on hemostasis, a member of international expert councils on thrombosis and hemostasis, co-author of national clinical recommendations "Hemophilia", "Willebrand's disease", "Rare blood clotting disorders", initiator and developer of the protocol for clinical testing of immunotolerant therapy in patients with a complicated form hemophilia with its subsequent successful introduction into the practice of hematologists.

She is a member of the editorial board of the journal, Hematology and Transfusiology and author of more than 300 publications.
