These surgeons are Professionals with a capital letter who took on huge risks, performed the most difficult operation and saved my life!
After BMT, a bacterial infection of the lung occurred. The situation became critical, therapy did not help, and the only way out was to remove the infected part.
Not a single Moscow-based thoracic surgeon dared to perform this operation, but Evgeny Alexandrovich Tarabrin, the Chief Freelance Thoracic Surgeon at the Moscow Department of Health, agreed to help and referred me to the NMRC for Hematology. At the Center, I was met and supported by amazing people, excellent professionals: Olga Vladimirovna Shcherbakova (Anesthesiologist-resuscitator), Anna Sergeevna Garmash and Svetlana Yurievna Smirnova, hematologists who guided me and prepared me for surgery. But my main “guardian angel” was my attending physician, MAXIM ANATOLYEVICH SILAEV, who is incredibly responsive, positive, and attentive to patients! I have never seen such an amazing humanistic attitude, super professionalism, and unshakable faith in success! After the operation, Maxim Anatolyevich spent a long time engaged in my recovery, making me believe that everything would be fine. And so it turned out! Now, three months later, I feel like a healthy person, and the only thing that reminds me of the operation is the neat surgical suture made by Maxim Anatolyevich.
Of course, I am very grateful to the management of the NMRC for Hematology, the people who took responsibility and gave me a chance to have the operation.
Maxim Anatolyevich and Evgeny Alexandrovich did a real miracle!
I bow low to all of you and wish the absolute best to the best doctors within the walls of the NMRC for HEMATOLOGY!!

Special thanks and a low bow to Dad's attending physician, Aminat Umarashabovna Magomedova, who, on the one hand, was able to choose a highly effective treatment method, and on the other, provided invaluable psychological and emotional support to dad (and our whole family) throughout the entire course of treatment, set up to fight the disease and ensure that Dad's body would recover. After the ordeal, she always stayed in touch, answering numerous questions in detail about the his body's response to chemotherapy. Thanks to the medical talent and efforts of Aminat Umarashhabovna and her colleagues in the department, the selected treatment regimen, and as a result of four courses of chemotherapy, according to the results of PET-CT, it was possible to achieve remission. Dad plans to return to work on the 29th of September. It is a great happiness for our whole family to see him healthy and in good physical shape.
Based on the experience of our family, I would like to note that the work in the department is structured in such a way as to create the best possible conditions for the recovery of patients. These include the constant care and attention of the staff, very high-quality food, cleanliness, and a flexible visiting schedule that allows you to visit relatives regularly and support them. When Dad experienced a sharp deterioration in his health during the first course of chemotherapy (fortunately, it was short-lived), I was allowed to stay with him for the night, which was extremely important for both of us at that moment.
It is also encouraging to see students of specialized residency and postgraduate studies, as well as young doctors in the department on a regular basis. Among them, the my father especially asked to mention Daria Sergeevna Belkina for her care, sensitivity and responsiveness. The creation of such an atmosphere is seen as a great merit of the head of the department, Yana Konstantinovna Mangasarova, and her personal involvement in the lives of patients, including the daily early morning rounds of the department, cannot but be admired. We are very glad that we were able to get an appointment with Y.K. Mangasarova at the end of May, when Dad was already experiencing serious breathing and hearing problems. Thanks to Yana Konstantinovna's attention and decision, Dad was able to start receiving treatment promptly. The brochure “Lymphomas: What a Patient Needs to Know” prepared and published by the NMRC for Hematology has been of great help in understanding the disease we are facing. We learned a lot of useful details about the potential side effects of chemotherapy, how to deal with them, and how to avoid them to a certain extent. I must admit that my interaction with such top professionals in their field as A.U. Magomedova and Y.K. Mangasarova has significantly changed my attitude to medicine in our country, to its scientific and human resources potential.
I sincerely hope that each of us will have as few reasons as possible to seek medical help, but if this is unavoidable, then I would like to go to medical institutions where the treatment processes are organized as efficiently as in the department of the Hematology Center headed by Y.K. Mangasarova, and to such professionals in their field as A.U. Magomedova.
I would like to thank you, dear Elena Nikolaevna, for forming and supporting such a unique team of specialists. I sincerely wish the staff of the department and the entire Hematology Center good health, mental and physical strength to help those in need and prosperity!
With respect and deep appreciation, A.V. Khlopkov

Delicious and nutritious food at normal prices (which is very useful for patients who have come on an empty stomach and are forced to spend the whole day at the Center).

ProtasovRead the entire reviewCollapseI would like to express my deep GRATITUDE to dentist Mikhail Protasov for the operation performed to remove a complex upper part at a high professional level. It was done with a very humane approach, very politely. Good health to you and your loved ones, a low bow from me and from my entire family.
