The largest hematology clinic in Russia

Annually, the NMRC for Hematology treats about 5,000 patients with hemoblastosis and other diseases of the blood system and performs more than 1,500 surgical interventions, of which over 200 are bone marrow transplants. The NMRC for Hematology has scientific-clinical and clinical-diagnostic units, including:

scientific and clinical laboratories
departments of instrumental and radiation diagnostics
day hospitals for patients
outpatient and polyclinic advisory services
hospital with 270 beds for the provision of specialized, including high-tech medical care

Attention visitors of the NMRC for Hematology: restrictions have been introduced on the admission of accompanying persons to the territory of the NMRC for Hematology.

Routine medical care is provided to patients with a normal body temperature and showing no symptoms of acute respiratory viral infections or community-acquired pneumonia. Due to the epidemiological situation regarding the incidence of measles in Moscow and the risk of introducing measles into medical institutions in Moscow, restrictions on planned hospitalizations in day and round-the-clock hospitals have been introduced at the NMRC for Hematology of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation.

High-tech Medical Care

High-tech medical care is part of specialized medical care and includes the use of new, complex and/or unique treatments, as well as resource-intensive treatments.

High-tech medical care is provided in accordance with the procedures and standards for the provision of medical care approved by the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation and National Clinical Guidelines.

High-tech medical care is provided at the NMRC for Hematology in both day and round-the-clock hospitals.

The NMRC for Hematology accepts patients over the age of 18 from foreign countries. Medical assistance to citizens of foreign countries is provided in accordance with the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 186 dated 06.03.13.

Hospitalization at the NMRC for Hematology is carried out by the decision of the Medical Commission of the NMRC for Hematology. Referral to the Medical Commission is drawn up by the attending physician of the Polyclinic Department of the NMRC for Hematology.

The NMRC for Hematology provides high-tech medical care to citizens of Russia, included and not included in the basic program of compulsory medical insurance in accordance with the Decree of the Government of Russia No. 1403 of 19.12.16 "On the Program of state guarantees of free medical care to citizens for 2017 and for the planning period of 2018 and 2019", in accordance with the list of types of high-tech medical care rendered at the NMRC for Hematology within the established volumes.

Five years ago, the words “multiple myeloma” sounded like a death sentence to me. It carried with it fear, suspense, and endless anxiety. And in this most difficult, darkest moment, you appeared on my path. Not just a doctor in a white coat, but a real guide, defender and warrior of light.

You have become an anchor for me that has kept me from drowning in despair. Your knowledge, your confidence, your calm and sensitive attitude have become the foundation on which we have been building the fight against the disease all these years. You didn't just prescribe treatment protocols — you inspired hope. You didn't just look at the tests — you saw a person who wants to live, rejoice, celebrate new dawns and, of course, the New Year.

The five years that I have been celebrating at the festive table with my family are your merit. This is your work, Your sleepless work of thought, your heart given to the patients. Every day I live is your little victory too.

My treatment at the Center for Hematology began in October 2024. When I went to the Department of Surgery for the 1st time, I was pleasantly surprised that such a place even exists. The department is perfectly clean, the rooms are comfortable with all the necessary equipment, all ethical and deontological aspects are observed here, which is very important, thereby creating a trusting relationship between the medical staff and the patient. At the moment, I have undergone surgical treatment in this excellent department for the 4th time and I want to thank all the nurses, guards, as well as orderlies, for their professionalism, attitude, careful care and round-the-clock monitoring of my condition.
I would like to express my special gratitude to my surgeons Candidate of Medical Sciences Maxim Anatolyevich Silaev, and Candidate of Medical Sciences Gennady Gennadievich Khodzhaev, as well as Candidate of Medical Sciences Vyacheslav Alexandrovich Novikov, an anesthesiologist, for saving my life!
